UNESCO General Director Audrey Azoulé granted UNESCO pantronage to the International Youth Forum «Eurasia Global». The UNESCO letter states that the practical and interdisciplinary nature of the Forum is in line with the objectives of UNESCO's work with youth, as set out in the UNESCO Youth Operational Strategy (2014-2021).
The aegis (patronage) of the event by UNESCO implies the highest form of moral support from the organization and allows the use of the name and logo of UNESCO in all official information materials. This means that the United Nations Organization recognizes the high social significance of the Forum as part of the development of youth initiatives, international youth dialogue on education, science and culture, as well as deepening mutual understanding between young people.
We remind you that the Eurasia Global International Youth Forum will be held in Orenburg from September 2 to 8, 2020 and will bring together more than 1000 Russian and foreign participants, including young leaders from all over the world, more than 100 countries and 80 regions of the Russian Federation.
The Forum program includes a practical part, a space for interaction between participants and a creative program. In accordance with the Instruction of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Forum has been held annually since 2016 and in 2020 will celebrate its fifth anniversary.
